PRODUCT CARE
How do I season my titanium pan?
Titanium pans don't require traditional seasoning like cast iron. Simply apply a thin layer of high-smoke-point oil (avocado or grapeseed) and heat on medium for 2-3 minutes before first use. The hammered surface improves naturally with each use.
Can I use metal utensils?
Absolutely. Titanium is incredibly scratch-resistant. Use metal spatulas, whisks, and tongs without worry — there's no coating to damage because there is no coating.
Is it dishwasher safe?
Yes, all Fortex titanium products are dishwasher safe. However, for optimal longevity, we recommend hand washing with warm soapy water and a soft sponge.
Can I use it on induction?
Pure titanium is not inherently induction-compatible. However, our Pan Pro series features a bonded stainless steel base that works on all cooktops including induction, gas, electric, and ceramic.
MATERIAL & SAFETY
Is titanium cookware really non-toxic?
Yes. Titanium is one of the most biocompatible metals known — it's used in medical implants and surgical instruments. Our products contain zero PFAS, PFOA, BPA, lead, cadmium, or synthetic non-stick coatings. Every batch is independently lab-tested.
What grade of titanium do you use?
Our cookware uses Grade 1 and Grade 2 commercially pure titanium — the same grades used in aerospace and medical applications. Grade 1 is used for cutting boards and utensils (maximum purity), while Grade 2 is used for cookware (optimal strength-to-weight ratio for heat applications).

What size pan should I get?
Mini (8") — Perfect for eggs, single portions, and sauces. Small (10") — Ideal for 1-2 person meals. Standard (11") — Our most versatile size, great for everyday cooking. Large (12") — For family meals, batch cooking, and entertaining.
